​Folkestone Chess Club

Folkestone Chess Club welcomes chess players of all abilities and ages. Members can play friendly games, and/or compete for the club in the Thanet Chess league, the Kent league and other competitions. 

 

We meet in the Royal Cheriton, 339 Cheriton Road, Folkestone CT19 4BP  Wednesday 6-9pm and Saturday 2-5pm.

Prospective members are welcome to attend the club to see if it is for them. 

 

Fees for the 2022/23 season.

£30.00 per year (we meet twice a week). To play in competition matches there is an English Chess Federation (ECF) fee. In addition there is a £1 board fee. ECF fees are not necessary  if you only play friendly games at the club.
